Peaceful hotel and amazing staff
Nice hotel in silence side of koh chang. Steve and Lilly (owners) was really nice persons. Service was amazing. Rooms was clean and nice.

Great Stay
This location was great and on the more relaxing side of Koh Chang. I wish we would have found it earlier because the hosts were amazing, the view was great, and the individual rooms were very nice.

Horrible experience
Located on a main road next to latex farms with a horrid stench, this establishment has little amenities, the room was unclean and infested with insects, owner sprayed insecticide in our room, refused a refund, yelled and insulted us in front of other guests. Avoid this place at all costs.

Resorten är ett väldigt mysigt ställe med 7 bungalows och pool. Ägarna kom och hämtade oss vid färjan dom ser till på alla sätt att man trivs. Väldigt hjälpsamma och familjära, kallar alla gäster vid förnamn! Nästa gång vi kommer till Koh Chang ska vi bo där igen! /Lena och Thomas

Das Privacy Resort ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind gut und sauber. Die Anlage ist wunderschön. Steve und Lilly, die Besitzer, sind extrem gute Gastgeber. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

La patronne de l hôtel thaïlandaise est charmante mais son mari néo-zélandais parle trop , essaie de vous vendre des activités à un prix exorbitant alors que vous pouvez les trouver bien moins ailleurs

Die Besitzer Steve und Lili waren äußerst bemüht,unseren 2 tägigen Aufenthalt bestens zu gestalten, nette Bungalows, alles sehr sauber, gutes Frühstück.
einzig die Lage an der Durchzugsstraße (nicht viel Verkehr) ist ein sehr kleines Manko.
Trotzdem haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

I booked Privacy Resort because of the good reviews...and I was not disappointed. The location on the quiet side of the island really suited me. Steve and Lily are excellent hosts...Breakfast is good and mini bar is stocked well and excellent prices...the pool looked very inviting...I stayed for 5 nights...was so busy exploring the island on my bike that I rented from Steve...I didn’t get to go in the pool. Steve has exceptional knowledge of what to do on the island and is a very genuine and great man. Steve and Lily are great people...I really enjoyed my time at Privacy Resort and will come back.

Beautiful Bungalows on the quiet part of island
1) the Bungalows look really nice and are prepared with everything you need for your comfortable holiday
2) Steve and Lilly are great hosts! They are really friendly and give you information for any activity you can do on the island
3) we really enjoyed the location of the Bungalows. The Eastern part is so quiet and there are not many people. When you sit outside of the bungalow in the night, you can listen to the sound of the jungle which feels great. No humans around you, just nature! Thank you for that great days without paying much money :)

Steve and Lily were absolutely amazing hosts. They provided us with anything that we could want or need during our stay with them in Koh Chang. The first night that we arrived to Privacy Resort, it was getting late in the night, and we were welcomed by Steve and Lily with tiny delicious bananas. YUM! They helped us get settled in AND even offered to take us to the nearest place to get food (they were getting dinner anyway and we were starving. They are really nice people. They educated us on the neat things to do in the area (for tourists, as well as what/where the locals go). Lily taught my fiance and I how to say thank you and hello in Thai - which helped us out tremendously during our 2 week stay in Thailand! They provided a great breakfast for us everyday - I highly recommend the fruit and rice soup! Delicious!! With this being our first time in Koh Chang (first time in Thailand), Steve and Lily were available to answer any and all of our questions and were so incredibly helpful during our entire stay. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys good vibes and great service! **Also.. make sure to get the banana chips from the nearby coffee shop - best thing ever for 20 baht. Thank you so much Steve and Lily for everything! We had an amazing time and would definitely come back to your resort if we go to Koh Chang!

Det er det mest fantastiske sted Privacy resort, de sødeste mennesker Lili og Steve der bare ønsker at vi får en god oplevelse. Det er så stille og roligt og ved nattetime kan man høre alle lydene fra skoven. Så ønsker man fred og ro og samtidig et sted hvor der er mulighed for at gå på opdagelse skal man vælge dette sted.

Wonderful stay
Stayed for 2 nights, it was our first time on the island. The owners Steve and Lilly were very helpful, giving us advice on good restaurants and beautiful beaches to see. We stayed in the deluxe double room. It was very clean with a large fridge, tv, awesome wifi and good a/c. The bed was a bit hard but all the beds so far on our trip to Thailand have been hard. It had a nice outdoor sitting area perfect for having coffee in the morning. The pool was well maintained and very refreshing with chairs around for lounging. Breakfast was very good, with choices of scrambled eggs or pancake with fresh fruit. It is located on the quiet side of the island so you will need to rent a motorcycle to get around as there is not much very close by.Steve even has some there to rent. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others. Thanks Steve & Lilly.

Get closer to the real Thailand
We had a great time at the Privacy Resort on the peaceful and natural east side of Koh Chang. Steve and Lily were amazing hosts of this small well built and maintained resort. We met the local people who are working to establish small businesses, all of whom seem determined to raise ecological standards in their life.
The lifestyle is quite a contrast to the more established areas of the island like White Sands.
