Old and historic place. Understand it was a lawfirm set of offices built in the late 1800's. Need place to stay right in the downtown area. Only two 'complaints' is the limited parking and a steep set of stairs to the rooms that are on the second floor only.

Beautiful historic hotel in the heart of Ouray! Wonderful staff (Theresa) that gave us tips on dining and places to visit. Comfortable rooms with a gorgeous view!

3 night stay.
It was all amazingly beautiful. Rhe one thing to make it a 4 instead of a 5 is the no elevator. My legs are filled with Rheumatoid Disease amd it was extremely hard climbing the stairs.

Very clean well maintained hotel in a historic gold mining town. Beautiful setting surrounded by peaks. Hot springs pools. Friendly and helpful staff and town folks. Ouray has the feel of "old Colorado".

Manager (I think) at front desk was as accomodating as could be under the circumstances of finding parking a reasonable distance from the entrance in kinda tour-y Ouray by offering her parking spot upon closing at 7 pm in a town where business-specific parking is at a premium. I was only there to sleep for a 340 wakeup for Sneffels so forgot to grab my to go breakfast which was to be kindly set aside early (but i forgot it before leaving) and wasvable to keep my parking until i returned just past lunch time

Good overall. Could do with some general deep cleaning, refreshing (carpets especially), although with many unpaved streets in town, it’s tough going.

A Charming Stay in the Heart of Ouray
Our stay at Hotel Ouray was fantastic! The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of downtown, making it perfect for shopping and just a short walk to great restaurants. Plus, Weisbaden Hot Springs, now open to the public, is just up the street for a relaxing soak.
The hotel itself is a beautiful blend of history and comfort. Housed in a stunning 1890s building, it offers all the modern amenities you’d want while maintaining its historic charm. Our room was cozy, the bed was very comfortable, and the views were amazing. It truly felt like a home away from home.
If you’re visiting Ouray and looking for a charming, well-located place to stay, I highly recommend Hotel Ouray!

Small but cozy and comfortable room with great bed and views. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was basic but muffins were freshly baked and fantastic. Only complaint was water pressure in shower was extremely low but pllenty of hot water.

Definitely out of a kind place. We stayed for one night. Arrived after midnight but were able to get in without any problems based on the instructions given. Checked out early morning without any issues. Super comfortable bed and amazing views!
