Very well located hotel, right in a main avenue of the city (the tram stop to the airport is just in front);
The room looks much bigger in the photos than it really is;
I was solo and couldn't almost dress myself how narrow were the spaces everywhere;
The traffic in the main avenue in front is heavy everytime and the windows not enough proofed, so be aware to order a room to the back side of the building (you can even hear the pigeons taking care of its nest just outside the window).

The hotel was under construction
The room and most things met my expectations, however; the hotel was under construction and I wasn’t able to sleep during the day due to the noise and I was sleepless from the night before.

It is a budget option and I appreciate the price. It was clean and odourless, these are two key things for me.
The location is superb! It is within walkable distance to everywhere and die cite de vin, you can take a tram and change or walk for a bit and get the direct tram.

Decent stay, and quite a few options for continental breakfast, waffles, pain au chocolats, cakes, etc. The only annoying thing is that checkout is at 2 pm, so I had to walk around Bordeaux for ages cuz I had got there at 11. Very ealkable to city centre, really close to the tram stop and bus stop and a Carefour right across the street in case you need to grab something.

Clean simple but hotels.com checkin time wrong
Room is small but clean. Decent location. However we had booked this hotel due to the checkin at noon : checkin is not until 2pm and it costs to use the luggage room. Also on final day cleaner came into room at 10am when checkout is noon.

There was a flood so we were evacuated from the room at 5am and had to sit downstairs in the reception for 2 hours. Staff did their best to be helpful and we have been told we will get a refund. It is one of those freak things that happened and can't always be helped. It is in a very central place, perfect for exploring Bordeaux in half a day

The staff were pleasant. However: the bathroom was so small and it really could use upgrading; there was the smallest window I have ever seen that barely opened; the aircon did not work; it had zero amenities and the bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in. I know it says budget hotel, but this was definitely not accurately described. I would never stay here again.

It's a budget property, and if you're fine with all that entails, go for it.
Pros: Low price, if you don't have to park
Cons: Very small room space, making far less efficient use of the tight quarters than I've seen at other Ibis budget properties.
I've stayed at other Ibis budget properties and this one doesn't compare well, making much poorer use of the extremely limited space (consider that there was no way two people could pass by each other at the foot of the bed, and that area had the most room). If you're on foot, it's still a decent deal. If you're driving, once you add in the cost of parking, I wouldn't recommend it. Desk personnel were great though--some Ibis budget hotels don't have that.

Do not recommend
For what it is, it is very expensive. The 3 person rooms have a bunk bed on the top which is very small. There is only a little window and the door used for the room is the same as for the toilet. It was an uncomfortable stay and not worth the money, even though this was the cheapest option in town, it was terrible and I wouldn't stay again. It wasn't the same as IBIS in the states like I know it. Much prefer to go to a guesthouse or something as this was so tiny and very hot

I arrived late, they had wrong room ready, was super small, nothing like the photos, very old. I complained and they moved me to disabled room which was bigger but still same condition, uncomfortable beds and just old.. The breakfast was terrible also, didn't eat the 2nd day, went to a bakery

Very helpful reception, nice air-conditioned room
The booking at hotels.com said check in time started at noon, but when I arrived the staff said it was 2pm and they could not give me a room, while storing luggage would cost additional 2 Euros. When I was a bit frustrated by this, another staff at the reception (Timothee) kindly helped me find a room which was ready for check-in, I appreciated his help in resolving this matter in a nice way.
One good thing about staying here is that, even though it is a budget ibis hotel, breakfast is included. While we needed to check out earlier than breakfast time, we were still able to grab some pastry and coffee before we left.
In addition, rooms in this hotel are equipped with air conditioning, which is very important during summer as Bordeaux can be very hot.

Unpleasant stay
Found the bathroom unclean at check in, receptionost was very efficient in providing another room.
The structure is not well mantained and rooms smell of mold. Air conditioning was not working properly and the room was very warm.
There is no hairdryer in the room, however it can be borrowed from reception (cash deposit).
At 2 am someone started screaming in the hall, waking us up. Screaming continued for a while.
Breakfast was ok, towels and linen unexpectedly fresh.
Good location very close to public transport.

Not quite as Described
Need to be more upfront that the parking costs are not included and how much they are. The check in was very slow, you appear not to have the systems that are link to your suppliers. The bed was really uncomfortable. Also be more upfront about the extremely small size of the bedroom.

The rooms were quite small. Not surprising since it was an ibis budget. Our issue is that the air quality was very poor as the bulding has a mold problem. My husband is very reactive to mold and I am very sensitive to the smell of mold. We did our best to spend as little time inside the room as possible for our health sake. Opening windows helped but my husband still reacted and we couldn't spend any extra time inside the room beyond a few hours of sleep. It is 3 days later and my hisband is now dealing with lung issues because of this mold exposure. It wasn't only our room, our kids were in another room and their air quality/mold was just the same, as was in the hallways on multiple floors.
