Lovely position overlooking the valley and vineyards. Comfortable clean air-conditioned room. Breakfast excellent. Only downside is that although the restaurant is elegant, the food was not the best we have had in France and yet was extremely expensive.

We received a good welcome and had a lovely overnight stopover on the way to Eastern France. The hotel is in a very peaceful location, the room was a good size. But the highlight above all that was the fantastic evening meal - the owner is also the chef. We paid 49 euros for three courses, but it went well beyond that with hors d’oeuvres and some wonderful sweet treats with our coffee. The hotel is dog friendly and there is a terrace for outdoor eating. On this occasion it was stormy so we ate inside where the dogs were also welcomed. We would like to return here next time we come to France.

Country Inn with high class restaurant

Inn and restaurant in a beautiful country setting in the Champagne region. The service is impeccable. Excellent restaurant and the dinner we were served was absolutely amazing. The attentive staff will ask you what time you prefer to have your breakfast to plan the service. They have an excellent selection of wines. Enjoy a glass of champagne on the terrace and enjoy the scenery. Dogs are welcome.

The food was excellent but do not recommend staying at the hotel. The showers and bathroom mirrors are only adequate for people under 4ft tall. The rooms need remodeling bad to accommodate people. Also, they are serious about locking you in the hotel and parking area at night which caused an issue during our stay of someone setting off alarms and honking in the middle of the night when arriving late.

Eneste plus var næsten udsigten fra den fælles terrasse. Dog fuldstændig tåbeligt at man ikke har beskåret buskene rundt om terrassen så det var fri udsigt til den ellers skønne dal. Når der blev stegt mad i køkkenet lugtede det i hele hotellet og værelserne. Ved ankomst var der frygtelig luft i badeværelse og soveværelse. Måtte bruge en time med helt åbne vinduer før der var luftet ud. Vægge og loft virkede som om de var lavet af tyndt pap. Var ikke i tvivl om hvad de lavede i naboværelset og når nogen gik på gang eller trappe vågnede man helt sikkert. Alkohol f.eks. en whisky og cola kostede 20 euro er er alt for dyrt sådan et sted. Værelse, gang og trapper mere end slidte. Markedsføre sig med gourmetrestaurant men det må have været i meget gamle dage. Valgte stegt andebryst. Kom tre meget små stykker som næsten ikke kunne skæres i stykker med steakkniven. Garneret af to skiver kartofler på ca 3 x 2 cm og vel tre millimeter tykke. Hvad fanden var det lige???? Prisen var helt i vejret for den mad. Personalet talte ikke engelsk. Flød med affald i “parken” Trapper var helt mørke med kun et lys forneden Kommer helt imidlertid ikke tilbage.
