Cheap hotel with small town charm
It’s a cheaper option hotel with small town charm. Dog friendly. We found the store owner downstairs that explained how to check in. We parked in the back, walked across a bridge to get to the room. Bed was hard but overall, this was a good value.

Amazing Place
This was an amazing place to stay! The room is so cute, nice little kitchen in the room. The room had lots of space. We loved being able to sit out on the balcony (roof top) and see downtown. The room has so much charm, we loved it and always stay there when in the area/

6/10 Good

Great for the price and ambience, upkeep could use
Great location, easy entry, cool general vibe. Cool, funky but somewhat down at the heels. Trash left in the trashcan, coffee in the filter, a smell of hamburger permeated the room, and an older man, clearly drunk, sitting on the roof deck surprised me as I returned to my room in the dark at 9 pm.

Too much light at night
The hotel is touted as a historic landmark. And the building is definitely old and the furnishings are old and outdated. The room was super clean and the guy on staff super friendly and helpful. We got very little sleep because the blinds do not fit the windows properly and light pours in to light up the room like it’s daylight during sleeping hours. Good location to The Mercantile.

2/10 Poor

Nope, just NO!
This is not an old hotel. This is a failed attempt of a bed and breakfast (minus the breakfast). You have to call to have you key delivered. Room had at least two eye sore signs of no smoking or 100$. Poor condition not some cutesy place. Blinds are in need of replacing. Never again.

Classic, clean affordable. Answered calls promptly! Enjoyed the History and sitting outside in evening! Close to all shops. I would return.

Nice little hotel in a historic building. Smaller operation different than the chain hotels yet offered all the necessities for a comfortable nights rest.

I tried to cancel my reservation and some guy said he was not the Maintenace man and would call me back. He never did so I did not get my money back. A total rip off. I will never deal with Expedia again.

We love the older motels, and this one was clean, and the manager was very great , friendly and helpful. We decided to stay another night

The room (although cute) was a little dark and moldy smelling and there was almost no water pressure in the shower.

The property has a lot of character, very interesting old fashion building. I only wish the walls in my room were not painted black. It gave us the impression of enclosure. Easy check in and out. We did not see the manager but he was available via phone if needed. Other than that wall, I loved our stay, very comfortable place. I recommend it and will stay here again when I come back! Thanks!

2nd time and still love it!
2nd time staying here and still loved it. Spacious rooms with lots of character. If you love shabby chic, vintage, fun, or different places to stay, this is it. If you stay in rooms 1-6, you might have to lug your stuff a little further than you want, but it’s worth it. We love Room 1. Will definitely book again when we are in Pawhuska. The only criticism I had for our room is that the covers are a little small for the queen bed. Once 2 people are under the quilt, you almost can’t cover both people. Just need a larger quilt for the bed.

The property itself is super old. But its super clean!!! The tv is way to small for the room though, and the rooms facing the street really need blackout curtains, the street lights are super bright!
