Beautiful old but modernized hotel in a great downtown location. Access to 2 Metro stops close by. My room was spacious, quiet and nicely decorated. I was annoyed that WiFi is not included in the room charge - ridiculous! Had to be a BonVoy member. Shame on Marriott. You get "destination dollars" to spend with your room charge. (Good for drink at the bar). My reservation included breakfast for 2 in Edgar restaurant. All was good.

It’s very clean, regal, and fits the DC “vibe” in a unique way. I love that it’s a Marriott without feeling like one (in a good way.) They don’t offer room service which is kind of inconvenient, but they do have a to-go option when their restaurant is open. Check-in staff were personable and very accommodating. Extremely close to a metro entrance which makes a huge difference!

The hotel has a great great location close to everything. Restaurant is good and staff in there are very friendly. We lived on third floor so every time an elevator came in…. DING. There’s an extra fee og $30. The fee comes with some benefits. You are lucky if they explain these.
