A stay at the Mathis House is one that is perfect for Rest, Recreation and Restoration of your soul. It’s a beautiful home, lovingly maintained. Each and every room is a site to see full of discoveries to look at. It’s crystal clear extra measures are put in place to meet all Covid —19 safety measures for the guests & staff. Face masks, social distancing and hand Hygiene is a requirement for all. The in is sparkling clean. Vicki the innkeeper goes above and beyond for making her guests feel, safe, welcome and at home. The Mathis House is a Must for a respite from the everyday. It was our first visit. It won’t be our last.... The Mathis House Magic was the perfect weekend getaway!

Best place to stay
Very clean place to stay. We made a last minute reservation and the owner was very plesant. Dont waste your money on a chain hotel. This place is amazing and clean. Staff are wonderful people. i am planning on visiting here often.

A beautiful B&B off main street in Falls River. Staff is excellent, architecture of home is impressive. If you like tea there selection is 1st rate. Also have an interesting farmers market out the back door to help make ends meet in the era of Covid-19. Great place to stay when in the Falls River area.

Picture Perfect and Safe
This was our first time at the Mathis House. It was gorgeous and very nicely decorated. The property was beautiful and maintained. Our room was awesome and comfortable and The Mathis House was spotless clean. People had their facemasks on and the Inn was spread out very safely . We loved it and the Innkeeper was very helpful, friendly and kind. Thank you Vicki for your hospitality. We will be back. Susan & David

An excellent location impressive in the detail of its woodwork, antique furnishings and unique decor in each room. They provide an ample delicious breakfast and, though often busy with teas, showers and weddings, remain remarkably quiet and relaxing.

Along the Way
Everything about the Mathis House was of interest from the beautiful wood panels to the the glass China cups and the numerous chooses of different flavor teas especially the lavender lemon. Our bathroom was clean and the towels twirled in a roll with numerous wash clothes, hand and bath towels which gave way to the cast iron porcelain bathtub. I immensely enjoyed my stay at the Mathis House and hope to return again to sit on the porch amidst this lovely 122 year old home . Thank-you ...Vicki ...for your warm hospitality and being the Keeper of this fine Bed and Breakfast establishment.
