The building has some “charm” to it (the bed moved when someone walked along the corridor outside) but is clean, tidy and slept really well. Music on the Saturday night was great and restaurant food was fantastic. Staff are A+, mailed me my sunglasses that I forgot in the room. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect location, beautiful property with great amenities. Staff were polite and very helpful. Room was tastefully furnished. Shower was hot and powerful. Cleaning staff arrived promptly and did an excellent job. Only minor criticism was cooked breakfast was served whilst I was eating first course which meant I had to eat quickly or risk food being cold. That said, food was delicious. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

An impressive looking, quaint hotel in a beautiful setting overlooking the river. I loved the size of our room and the windows overlooking the river. Dinner and breakfast were both good and servers weee delightful. The shower was so sparse it was hard to get wet, and there was not a level floor in the place. No lift - but I don’t mind stairs. Well furnished but all pieces are showing their age.

We had a lovely stay in Betws-y-coed and the hotel made the stay really relaxing. They are friendly and helpful and the hotel is really central. We are looking forward to booking to go again soon.

Excellent stay

We had a lovely stay at TheRoyal Oak. Staff are very friendly. The rooms were kept very clean and fresh towels every day. We ate in the restaurant every night and the food was excellent. All in all it was a great stay.
