The property was undeniably maintained with pride & precision, however the service stood out to be the Raffles point of difference, to be treated as a long term repeat guest, on our first stay . The in-house Food , Restaurants &Bars were excellent I rate them as a 5 star which does not come easily or often from me. I've stayed in many hotels around the world, mostly 4- and 5-star properties, and this is genuinely one of the best 5+ stars hotel I've ever experienced. Period. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, beautiful colonial architecture and historic character is at every inch. Every corner, the suite, the lobby, the spa - feels elegant and full of luxurious and elegant historic feel. The service is consistently outstanding, and everything - from check-in and check-out to the breakfast experience - is being done genuinly with care and high end professionalism. This was my second stay here, and it only confirmed my first impression from the previous year. I'll definitely be coming back. Couldn't recommend it stronger.

Harpreet (Happy) and Narendra the Sikh doormen were the best part from the second you step foot at the entrance until you depart. Always a warm motherly greeting and friendly fatherly departure. The entire staff and property solidified this experience. The best I have seen anywhere in the world.

Raffles has been a dream for me for most of my life and I booked to celebrate my 60th birthday and WOW!,what a celebration. All the staff at Raffles make you feel welcome and extra special for the duration of your stay making you feel like you are the only guest in the hotel. It’s an amazing hotel and staff were truly excellent!! That said, it’s a bit stuffy and not sure appropriate for anyone below the age 65. I would highly recommend it to anyone, but do keep in mind the rooms have no view, so they feel almost suffocating.

We had a wonderful short stay at Raffles recently as part of a stopover in Singapore on our way to New Zealand. We travelled as a family with our two small children (ages 2 and 6 months). We were a bit nervous about staying in such a nice hotel with the kids but the staff were extremely accommodating and we were able to check in early so we could all nap after our flight. The suites are easily big enough for a rollaway bed and a cot and Raffles even provides separate children’s bedding, towels and toiletries - it was very impressive and we felt very welcome. We spent the second day by the pool, which is beautiful and immaculately kept. The staff at the pool bar are worth a special mention as they were particularly helpful, nothing was too much trouble and it never felt pretentious. This really is a very special hotel, and we would recommend it to other families.
