Excellent staff
My wife and I stayed for two days because our furnace had gone out. The staff was friendly, attentive, and understanding. Everything was lovely except when the elevators went out on both days, requiring us to walk up five floors to our room. I asked the first day if we could get a discount on our room, so they gave us half off the second day it went out, and they gave us another half off, which accommodated our needs. As I said, the staff was hospitable, particularly Maurice. He worked the third shift and accommodated everyone who walked in. He worked the bar and the front end. He communicated intelligently with hotel guests at the bar and was very reasonable when he had to attend to the front desk. He had nothing but good energy and was a good person.

Staff Went Above and Beyond
The stay was typical EXCEPT the elevator was down most of the week and I was on the 5th floor. I know "stuff" happens but the elevator company didn't consider it a high priority. The reason the rating was as high as it is was based on your staff's willingness to help me get a large load down to my car at check out, which was 5 floors down. That was an excellent level of customer service and I appreciated that.

Amazing hotel for the price

We were attending a formal ceremony and had to lug bags upstairs because the elevator was broken. Worse was leaving and returning through the same dirty smoke filled stairwell with heels and ball gowns. Then the next morning the smoke alarm goes off waking us up. We went to get breakfast and let the front desk know our complaints and there was no food left. The front desk person was unconcerned…
