We were in a king room on the second floor of the first building. We were given a parking spot inside the gate since we did not plan on using the car while there. The door to our room opens from a shared balcony with 2 chairs and a small table on each side. We did not use these but our neighbors did (at 3am and were NOT quiet about it). The room opens into a living area with couch, TV, coffee table, mini fridge, microwave and nespresso maker. Then a small hallway with full length mirror, closet with safe and a vanity with sink. The bathroom is standard, tub/shower, toilet and sink. The water doesn't get very hot but warm enough to shower. The bedroom had a king bed, bench, 2 side tables, a few lamps and a TV. The door would not close all the way due to the floor. It was lumpy as if it was bowing. Not a big deal. There is a pool and small jacuzzi that we did not use but saw people in the pool. They also had bikes (but again we did not use). We also did not eat at the continental breakfast but I did stop by for tea. They had cereal, toast with jams, fruit, coffee and hard boiled eggs. They also have happy hour with wine and cheese (saw the set up but did not sample). Was not happy about the surprise "resort fee" which was about $29 A DAY and then there's parking which was about $25 a day. It was centrally located one street over from Duval right in the middle. Easy walking. CLEAN! I would stay again knowing there's about another $115 tacked on to the total.

It was just beautiful as usaul. I have stayed at this inn before and i have had the best time...I have stayed at most on the island and the level of pampering is extreme at least that is my opinion.Upon being greeted they definitly personlize your stay...They informed me in advance of sny rwpairs that were upcoming and showed us moderate price places to eat and relax.. Any issue we had with room was met promptly and the breakfest each morning saves you at leaat 60$ a day because its free ..always a plus..and at 5pm to 7pm the have a beautiful wine and cheese selection with gourmet olives its wonderful to sit on the porch and have drinks that are free with room...Once again wine on the island is 12$ a glass in even a cheap eatery so it is pretty nice...We stayed a full 7 days and Diana And the rest of the staff were as nice on the first night all the way till last and thats harx to do with me..High maintence ya know...anyway they did not tey to add on any extras and even gave us some pretty good coupons..It is a very small resort style place i think 10 room but 3 of them hold 8-10 guests...It is adult only and a security guard walks around at night so i felt completly safe...Ive stayed here before and i feel its an exceptional property for what you pay..Ive stayed at several others that were at least 3 grand or more for same style and The paradise Inn blows them away...not super luxury but almost for what u pay ..

Repeat stay 12 years later!!
We stayed here 12 years ago and always wanted to come back. Our previous stay was excellent. However, this stay was by far one of the best experiences we have had with a hotel and their staff. The front desk people, Marcus and Greg, were warm, friendly, and extremely helpful. As soon as you arrive, you are greeted with a friendly smile and warm welcome to the Paradise Inn. We stayed in a king suite with a separate bedroom from the living room. Rooms were comfortable, complimentary breakfast was very good, wine and cheese happy hour was an added bonus, pool area with complimentary towels was really nice, and the hot tub was enjoyable at night. Whatever we needed, the office was happy to help. If we needed more water bottles, they provided them free of charge. Starbucks coffee was always available in the breakfast area free of charge. There was also Starbucks coffee in our rooms. Since we had a late afternoon flight, we were allowed to stay an hour later free of charge. We were then allowed to keep our luggage in the office until we left for the airport. This Inn was adults only which made our stay extremely quiet and enjoyable. We will definitely go back. W

Other than a great location.......
Positives: ultra clean and comfortable bed, bath, toiletries. Kudos to the housekeeping staff. Negatives: Felt like false advertising - we assumed all rooms had a garden or pool view. Not so - we had a room overlooking the parking lot, couldn't have blinds open without feeling totally exposed. But yet, paid the full going rate. Lighting was the worst I've ever experienced - one small, low wattage lamp in the middle of two beds. (BTW, there were two lights per room in every online photo - so I asked if we could get a floor lamp the next morning. They never responded to us.) Thus, we could not read at all, or see anything really at night. We would leave the bathroom door open and lights in there were awesome. Debated reading in there on one night. But ironically, the exterior lights were so bright, at night that was a problem. Go figure. The sink drain was slow and backed up when using it. Had to ask for pool towels twice. When our car service came to pick us up the front desk told them we were not there, had never been there. Yet, I was in our room, and we hadn't checked out yet. Very unimpressed. If the location wasn't great I would have found another hotel. We won't be back.

Wonderful Stay
The location, grounds, and room were spectacular. Our suite was spacious and well designed; we appreciated the 2 sinks. Our only disappointment was in the breakfast- it was extremely mediocre, especially considering the cost of the rooms. Coffee was from a machine, yogurt brand was generic, nothing made on site. When the fruit was gone, it wasn’t replenished. Also, while nice to have a reserved parking spot, it cost an additional $25 per night. Office staff was friendly. Appreciated clean towels every day but the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. Overall we would stay here again - accommodations were outstanding - and find breakfast elsewhere. The location is totally walkable and there are many restaurants close by. And the grounds, pool, landscaping are fabulous!
