It was a mixed experience staying at the hotel. The hotel is beautiful inside and out and is uniquely placed inside a park, which was an exceptional surrounding for the stay. The outdoor area was wonderful, with beach chairs. The breakfast was nice, with a lot of options. The servings at the restaurant for dinner was small, but delicious. The downsides was the staff at the restaurants. Me and my family ate breakfast and dinner and ordered coffee, and each interaction we had with the staff was disappointing, considering a 5 star hotel and the money we spent on our stay. We were not allowed to switch tables for dinner even though there were alot of tables to choose from, a waiter walked away mid sentence, didn't present the food, and was overall not very accommodating. It gave us the feeling that we would be treated better if we spoke German or looked richer. This experience alone means that we will not be coming back.

ParkHotel is definitely my favorite hotel in Bremen. This time I stayed in a room with lake view, which was beautiful. Spa and pool amenities are a top notch. They even offer also fitness classes and gym equipment is pretty elaborate. Personnel is friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast had a great selection. Enjoyed their restaurant and bar as well!

Very relaxing hotel, right in the park, but be aware that it is not really near any other restaurants or activities. There is a fine-dining restaurant (lovely, genteel, a little old-fashioned so if you are in your 20s or 30s it might not be quite your thing!).
