Stunning location, clean room and overall good value for money. I would've scored higher for amenities if the room had a fridge and all the plug sockets worked. Fascinating history, you must read the history of these ancient grounds before you take a walk, especially around the 12th century ruins. The staff were lovely but unfortunately the restaurant on the Friday was shambolic, with barely anything available from the already small menu, it took ages to arrive and was missing key ingredients when it eventually did. It's only a small restaurant too and I felt for the young staff doing their absolute best.

What really stood out was the staff—everyone we met was friendly, helpful, and kind throughout our stay. Their warm hospitality made us feel very welcome and added to an already enjoyable experience. What a gorgeous setting for a lovely long weekend away in a beautiful part of the world. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and the grounds impeccably maintained, resulting in a perfect family reunion weekend involving picnics in the gardens, meals in the restaurants and restful sleeps. Real shame. This property has a lot of interesting history. However it had no apparent management on site and was left to staff to run it who, although most were pleasant, had no clue about hospitality. We were asked to choose a breakfast sitting time up to 9.30am. We chose 09.15. However they stopped serving at 09.30 and cleared away all the buffet food (albeit sparse as not replenished), noisily! Never felt so unwelcome in a hotel. Evening meal, we chose to eat outside. The tables and chairs had lots of bird poop on them, but no attempt to clean it! Room was supposed to have a Wow factor. Unfortunately it didn't. We hadn't checked but this is a dog friendly hotel and our room smelt that a dog had been there. We have dogs, but it was still not great.

we were there for 48 hours with the first 24 being good, the evening meal was excellent and the breakfast fine but a little slow. Then it deteriorated. First, we were told the restaurant was closed but were given two very different reason. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and the closest place to eat was 7 to 10 miles away. The staff offered no assistance other than providing a list of placed to eat and a taxi number and did not even offer to help with the booking. The taxi fare to the restaurant was high and the hotel did not offer to compensate. Then the breakfast the next morning was very poor. We stayed with the continental option but there was very little left to choose from and we had to constantly ask the staff for plates more toast etc. Based on this experience I will not be going back to this hotel.

We stayed at Slebech Park for two nights as part of a trip to Skomer Island to see the puffins, and it was the perfect place to stay. Our room was spacious, comfortable and beautifully presented, giving us plenty of room to relax after a day of exploring. From the moment we arrived, every member of staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone was genuinely friendly, helpful and seemed to take real pride in making sure guests had a great stay. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening, and it was excellent. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding—friendly, attentive and relaxed without ever feeling intrusive. Breakfast each morning was just as impressive, with a fantastic Welsh breakfast made from high-quality local produce. It was the perfect start to a day of sightseeing. One of our favourite parts of the stay was simply wandering around the estate. The grounds are beautiful, peaceful and full of wildlife, making for some lovely walks both in the evening and first thing in the morning. It really added to the whole experience. If you’re planning a visit to Pembrokeshire or heading out to Skomer Island, I can highly recommend Slebech Park. It’s a beautiful setting with fantastic staff, excellent food and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

The hotel is just okay. The staff is great although at times needs more help. The continental breakfast - what’s with no napkins? We tried to go to a dinner but with the limited menu it was tough. We saw there was risotto that we wanted but by the next night it was off the menu. Staff said it’s because they changed chefs and wanted to make it easier. Most of the rest of the menu remained the same. Even though there was WiFi it just seemed to work in the room, not anywhere else. As soon as you got off the property, your cellular would pick up. The location is fine but if you missed the last dinner (8pm-ish) you were in a bind for food. Bed was okay. Room was hot. The fan they provided seemed on its last leg. Got another with a different problem. Not sure I’d stay here again.
