Seems like a motel that has had a makeover, but a nice one though. Just stayed one night but got to enjoy the pool area and the restaurant at night. The food and service was great at the hotel restaurant.

We had a great stay at Wayfinder. It’s just outside the city of Newport. We brought our dog and he enjoyed seeing other dogs. The barista team were Fabulous. I’ll miss my morning latte.

Great hotel

We loved staying at the Wayfinder and we especially love that it's dog friendly. We enjoyed out room, it was spacious and comfortable. The pool was great too! The only thing would be the service for the restaurant/coffee shop and pool bar. It seemed as if no one was crossed trained or they would close early or not offer room service because the restaurant's phone didn't work. Every employee was extremely nice and accommodating but we felt the service was a bit disorganized and slow. Kudos to the kid making coffee on the 4th of July! He worked his butt off and I think was the only one working.

The hotel check in experience was lacking - no info provided on WiFi and we found pool to be locked from all entrances, but no one mentioned facility limitations or closures. No info provided re food, room service, etc. Otherwise the hotel is newly re done, cute looking and trendy - but not quiet, and heard rooms on all sides throughout stay.

Not worth it!

Mixed feelings, nice hotel but it felt like it was just opened with now staff that newer works in the hotel business before, cleaning service was horrible, they came at 6PM in the middle of getting ready for this nights dinner and you had to use to old towels getting ready. Asked for earlier cleaning after first night but it was the same day after… kids wanted pool so we chose this hotel, but the water was 65 degrees in mid June= no heated pool… after all the charge premium price but the do not deliver. Chose sorting else!

Decent, above average?

Decent amenities. Room was quite clean, and had the standard array of fixtures. Shower had a leaky faucet, service staff was, overall good, but were confusing a bit when I was seeking clarity about room policies and the restaraunt. King room had okay size, and no issues with noise. Bit of a nickel and dime situation with late/early check in but I’m sure that’s par for the course these days. Wish the pool was available! But it is May so I don’t blame them. Drink tickets are plus, can grab some draft beers while you kill time.
