Great pub with an annexe of rooms. We have stayed here on multiple occasions when attending an appointment. The rooms are warm and clean and the staff are very helpful and eager to help in any way that they can.

Booked as just a bed for a wedding held locally, a very lucky choice. We arrived in good time so had a snack in the bar first. Very tasty, arrived promptly, great service. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast also very tasty despite my off menu ordering. Service was a bit slow but accurate and very friendly. If we need to be in the area again would be quite happy to book another stay.

Fantastic hotel, bed is sooo comfortable as are the pillows. Never heard a sound all night. Breakfast is always very good. Stayed here 4 times now when visiting friends and always been very good. Lovely quality touches in the room like the wool throw at the end of the bed, the Robert’s radio and usb port beside the bed. Hope nothing changes as a really nice hotel.

Rooms could have been a bit cleaner, there were cobwebs and the bathroom could do with a deeper clean. But other than that, the bed was comfy, the room was spacious, and the staff were absolutely lovely. We had breakfast the next morning, plenty of choice and mostly included in the room price. Some items had a £5 supplement eg the full English breakfast. Unfortunately the delivery hadn’t arrived yet so there were so sausages, but other items were added to make up for it and we weren’t charged the supplement. Overall, would highly recommend as a place to stay! Thank you.

Enjoyed my stay here, clean spacious room and a tasty breakfast. Nice food in the pub. Only downside is the WiFi coverage wasn't the best in the room

Friendly, helpful team of staff, calm and supportive. We were a party of four women. One of us has mobility challenges. The accessible room was perfect for her. They were happy to go with our birthday celebration wishes, so we could decorate the table and they brought out the cake. Food was delicious and pub restaurant was well spaced out. Would definitely visit again.

The room was clean and tidy with an ensuite bathroom, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was nice and the atmosphere warm. I genuinely would go back and stay their again if I'm ever in the location. Plenty of parking with a quiet surrounding area so no noise at night, all in all definitely worth the money spent and pleased to have picked the hotel to stay at, highly recommend...
