We were thoroughly impressed with this hotel! Friendly staff, rooms in good condition, quiet area, and would be a great place to see stars if it hadn’t been a cloudy night. Would happily stay here again.

Spectacular Views
The view was spectacular but the hot water wasn't. It went from warm to cold, very disappointing after a day of hiking in the rain.

very clean. Room slept 6 with one bathroom. Only sink was in bathroom so washing up dishes (provided) and toothbrushing was always limited.

Fabulous stay to break up a long drive. And we had a lovely suite with a hot tub. All super clean and food in restaurant was lovely. As were all the staff. Great little breakfast.

Located on the Bealey riverbank, Arthur's Pass area in the South Is, NZ and all it's beauty. Staff at the hotel were welcoming and the cabin accommodation of excellent quality. The only drawback was a hot shower the heating system is run by a generator. Recommended.

The Bealey is a lovely welcoming place to step away from life’s buisiness. Considering the locality the accommodation, staff and food were excellent.

Great views, lovely meals and the staff were excellent. Do need a duvet for the bed as it is not warm enough.

The photos online do not do The Bealey Hotel justice. Views of the mountains in the distance are spectacular. Clean room with enough space for a quick night or 2 stay. Close enough to Arthur’s Pass but also nice to be a little outside of town to feel like our own private area. The restaurant was lovely for dinner after a long day.

Great value, good and service
We highly recommend the Beasley Hotel. It is in a great location and the service is great. The staff is small and works really hard. The food is delicious. I recommend the ribeye, the hamburger and the pasta special. We ordered a picnic lunch which was a wrap, apple, brownie and bar. The wrap really hit the spot. The rooms have a great view of the river and mountains. Our studio was small but clean and well designed. We were very happy with our stay there.

Fantastic stay
Wonderful stay-perhaps my favorite in New Zealand. It is more remote and unique with fabulous views and great staff. We ate at the restaurant each night and had the best fish and chips in NZ.
