Best in the Area
Nicest motel that we have found in Manitowoc/Two Rivers. Conveniently near I-43. The facility is more than several years old, but is still the nicest hotel/motel of many we have tried in the area. Three story, business-class feel. Rooms have both firm and soft pillows--a nice detail. My wife likes this place, so you know where we will stay next time.

Our room had an odor like someone just got done microwaving food. We found a dry crusty face down in the bathroom. We got 2 queen beds which fits 4 people but was only give 3 towels. I will never understand this. Didn’t make any complaints bc by the time we were don’t with our event it and got to the room it was after 11pm. Hopefully they will make change and improve for future guest.

There was a dirty towel left on the desk and vanity. Old bar of soap and used cup on the vanity as well. There was debris on the floor. The toilet had soiled tissue in it. I was skeptical of how well this room was cleaned. Pillows were haphazardly placed on the bed.

just a heads up. i paid the extra for the made for me breakfast. well i got 2 coupons for the breakfast buffet area. no one asked me anything about getting food in that area. or making me food. the potatoes where hard, the sausage i couldnt put my fork into without stabbing at it. the eggs where typical dry powdery eggs from a bag. if i would have known this ahead of time o would have just eaten elsewhere.

The issue was with the personnel.they didn’t know if they had a breakfast or not had to go ask and then had to find coupons and then at checkout couldn’t figure out how to tell if account was paid or give receipt. while the check-in was quick and easy and our room was clean, the bathroom could use remodeling and there was considerable dust in some areas of the room. The exterior doors to the hotel were open without a key which felt unsafe. The pool area was nice, but towels were not available and the deep end ladder had sharp edges.

When I arrived I was able to check in however still had to wait regardless that there wasn’t a line because the man at the front desk chose to finish what he was doing before he attended me and everyone else that was had already came after me.
