13 Sept 2026I like this place a lot, it was built in the 1930's, has been well maintained and everyone was friendly and helpful. I arrived late at night, was looking for food and found The EndZone, the owners there were amazing and the food was good. Everyone else at the bar was friendly and welcoming. I advise going to this small town and enjoying it, especially the nature.

Just a suggestion, though when you check in request a room at the back of the hotel so that you cannot hear the train that runs through throughout the night. Very clean considering how old and historic the place is. We really enjoyed our evens night stay

We didn't explore the area because we were in and out in a short period of time, but directly around the hotel there didn't seem to be much, other than a few eateries. We chose to have dinner at the hotel restaurant and both of us enjoyed our meals. Breakfast was continental style, offering the usual items most hotels do.
