Our room had a great view of the river, and the park. It was so handy to have access to events in and around the riverfront, the park, shopping, and was walkable to everything in Independence. Front desk was very helpful! Fresh lemon/lime ice water and cookies was a nice treat after checking in. They were conveniently located near elevators on our way to the room. Grounds and river views are gorgeous and peaceful. Paved walking trail along the river proved to be a relaxing stroll after our evening meal.
