Great hotel with restaurant and pool. Spa also if you want to spoil yourself further. Very close to the old town and all its fascinating museums, markets and cafes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Ask for a room with a view of the old town and the mountains beyond - a great place to relax after a day's sightseeing. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Aix.

After weeks of traveling across Eastern France and staying in some less than ideal hotels, Aquabella was a breath of fresh air and a great place to finish our trip. Its location is a short walk to most of the amazing restaurants and cafes in Aix. Although we didn’t avail ourselves of the spa (which is huge) we did spend some serious time soaking up the sunshine at the beautiful pool. My only negative observations were the elevators needed servicing (jerking to a halt on each floor) and their online hotel guide needed updating to reflect the actual opening times of the restaurant and pool as well as the available TV channels. Speaking of, it would be nice if they had a few more English speaking channels available but this was the norm in most places we stayed. Still, a great hotel in a great location and I would return anytime without hesitation.
