This hotel went above my expectations for a three-star stay in an area near the Vatican. The staff was fantastic. The room was small, but was fine. Good internet signal, enough for Zoom meetings. Breakfast was a decent buffet. AC worked fast and well.
One of the things I really liked is that it’s away from the really touristy parts of Rome, making it much more quiet. It was a relief to get away from that part of the city. At the same time, you could walk to the Vatican in 8 minutes, and to the Forum in 30. And it was a great walk over some beautiful bridges. That may be a little long for some folks, but it was good for me. (I noticed that the Rick Steves tour was staying there, so you know it’s a good place to be.)
Yes, the decor is a bit dated, but I would happily stay in this hotel again. A very nice stay.
