Room was excellent, clean and spacious. Thought has been put into everything in this hotel. It is great value for the cost. The breakfast was great. I apprecieted the little extras that the hotel offers, like infused water in the lobby. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great, walk from the hauptbahnhof, ubahn outside the door. The German Soccer museum is a couple of minutes walk away and there is easy access to Signal Iduna Park. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel, for a reasonable price I got a big room, double bed with a bath and an array of coffees and teas. The room was lovely, my only minor negative was the price of the breakfast; €20 is a bit steep!

Entrance was difficult to find - small sign and door next to shopping center and have to get the lift to go in/ out of hotel which is on 3rd floor
Close to station and walking distance from bars and restaurants
Shower was inside bath and a bit awkward to get in and out
Room was a good size with mini fridge and working aircon

not good, we arrived late, could not find the parking lot; and try to call the reception, nobody answered. Only after I went to the reception, I found the staff and got some support and help. Please clearly mention the park lot in the booking process !

Pensavo di aver prenotato nell‘altro Mercure molto più bello e con ristorante. Questo è in una brutta zona vicino la stazione non ha ristorante non ha scale solo esterne e si deve prendere sempre l‘ascensore, persona alla reception scortese. Non tornerò non lo consiglio

Das Zimmer war geräumig, gut eingerichtet und ziemlich sauber. Die Rezeptionistin freundlich und kompetent.
Was allerdings überhaupt nicht gut war und dazu geführt hat, dass ich nicht schlafen konnte, war der immense Lärm. Zum einen waren die Fenster kaum schallisoliert, so dass selbst im 5. Stock Gespräche, Streit, Gesänge von der Strasse zu hören waren. Des weiteren waren das Türklatschen etc. vom Flur sehr laut. Und es gab ein permanentes Brummen, das sehr störte. Ob es der (abgeschlossene) Kühlschrank war oder von der (eigentlich ausgestellten) Klimaanlage kam, weiß ich nicht.
Somit werde ich wohl nicht mehr hier übernachten, denn nicht schlafen können für 153.-€ ist für mich ein Ausschluss-Kriterium. Sorry!
