15 Sept 2024The property seemed run down. It’s in need of some love and updating. The staff/employees we encountered were all very nice which is so important. The cleanliness of the room was fine; the hallways smelled strongly of industrial cleaner (not a good smell). It’s right off of a major road, so it was very easy to get back on it. The beds (we booked a triple room) were the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in. When getting up both mornings of our stay we could barely walk (I’m in my 20’s, my mother is in her 60’s and we were both in an extreme amount of pain). It was raining when we arrived and there is no easy covered pull up spot to drop your bags. We had to carry them up 2 steps then walk along a smooth tile/marble 5 meter walkway get to the front door-extremely slippery in the rain (there was a ramp to the walkway but it’s out of the way when you’re trying to get out of the rain with luggage). All in all, it was fine, but I wouldn’t stay again.

12 Nov 2025Stayed here a number of times. Don’t rely on the restaurant or bar being open. It is often closed. This time, because it was a bank holiday on the Tuesday, the restaurant was closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Not really what they advertise.

5 Aug 2026Séjour business catastrophique du lundi au vendredi. Dès le mardi, plus d'eau chaude dans ma chambre : j'ai dû me doucher à l'eau congelée pendant trois jours. Le mercredi, j'ai trouvé un mot de la direction dans ma chambre s'excusant pour un "problème technique", ce qui prouve qu'ils étaient parfaitement au courant de la panne, mais rien n'a été fait pour réparer ou me changer de chambre. Au moment du check-out, le Directeur était curieusement absent. La réceptionniste a pris mon adresse e-mail en me promettant formellement que le Directeur me recontacterait pour convenir d'une solution. Évidemment, à ce jour, je n'ai reçu aucun retour. Un manque total de professionnalisme et un mépris du client inacceptables pour un hôtel 4 étoiles de la chaîne Mercure. Service client zéro. À éviter absolument !

Disastrous business stay from Monday to Friday. Starting Tuesday, there was a total lack of hot water in my room, and I was forced to take freezing cold showers for three days. On Wednesday, I found a note from management in my room apologizing for a "technical issue," which proves they were fully aware of the fault, yet absolutely nothing was done to fix it or change my room. At checkout, the Manager was curiously absent. The receptionist took down my email address, formally promising that the Manager would contact me to work out a solution. Needless to say, to this day, I have received no response whatsoever. A total lack of professionalis
