Don't recommend
The room looked nothing like the photo. It was dated and old and kind of run down. Bed was hard, would start to flip/topple when you say on the end of it and linens were stained though washed. Everything was kind of musty. Bathroom smelt musty and of stale water and was in poor shape, though again clean enough. I didn't use the shower/bath. Door didn't close/seal around the edges but it did lock. There's stairs only to get to the 3rd floor so if you have disability needs make sure you don't get that.

The Happy Day Inn is located 6 blocks away from where i grew up as a kid in Burnaby. Was excellent to be close by childhood area, as well close to amenities in town. The staff were very friendly & kind, i highly recommend staying here especially for solo travelers
