We had a lovely time here. Beautiful maintained property with a heated pool and very nice games room. Also a tennis/bball court and a playground. Beautiful cottage on a lovely resort with stunning views across the lake; comfortable, clean and excellent facilities including pool, sauna, tennis court and the best equipped games room we’ve seen! 15 mins walk along the boardwalk next to the lake into the charming village centre with a great pub, cafes and walks. Could not fault the whole experience, we’ll return for sure!

Catastrophy

From our arrival on Monday evening to departure on Friday we endured a total power outage. No lights, no stove, no refridgerator etc. Our food spoiled and as all shops in Metung remained closed for the period supplies could not be replenished. Wlilst we appreciate that the outage was caused by a storm and in no way reflects on the management, we did not get what we paid for. A refund would be appreciated. I also believe McMillans of Metung has a valid claim for compensation from the power company and or insurrance.
