Fantastic getaway close to the center of Leavenworth. The main issue is that the O’Grady’s restaurant is closed - food options are very sparse. The Grotto bar has pizzas and salads - but the salad come in a plastic container; not like a restaurant. Very limited. Breakfast is just ok and is $25 a person.

Sleeping Lady felt a little sleepy. While we had a good night sleep in a comfy king bed- the surrounding grounds seems like it needs a bit of TLC. Beautiful river view behind the Kingfisher Restaurant - but our cabin location by the Arts Center was pretty ordinary.

Great location and great property. Among other things, Sleeping Lady can be a wonderful romantic getaway, or a fun place to take your whole family. This resort is such a beautiful property, we loved the history and the attention to conservation of the land, the native Americans and the Civilian Conservation Corps. It's very comfortable, views are incredible and so relaxing. I recommend a visit to the spa and massage. We're excited to come back.
