This is a beautiful property that does need a few updates but overall a great experience. Views were spectacular, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My only complaint is they advertised a spa. It was a hotel room with a massage table in the middle of the room. Not quite the experience I was hoping for. I would have skipped it and enjoyed more time on the beach.

Very friendly and helpful staff throughout the resort including the pro shop at the golf course. Room was exactly as pictured and expected ! Breakfast choices were plentiful. Beaches were spectacular , and for someone that has been coming down to STX for 30 years - among the best on the island. All of the restaurants were excellent and we ate at all of them. The Welcome Experience on Tuesday night and meeting the owner was refreshing and perfect. The Buccaneer is a must stay!

We enjoyed all the access the Buccaneer had to offer. The beaches are beautiful. The one thing I would do differently is rent a car. Also, I wish the property had access to rent a golf cart if you weren’t golfing. The expense of some of the food was something to plan for or to purchase a meal plan for the next trip. It was a great vacation, overall.

The rooms in the great house were spacious and had great views. The breakfast was also really great, but we did not like the coffee which is a big deal for us but we found a good cafe in town. The terrace restaurant had great food, great views, great service. The mermaid for lunch was ok and the service wasn’t great. We had a great time on St Croix and we would stay at the Buccaneer again.
