We checked in at about 9pm and after a long drive the staff were lovely and helpful, just what we needed. Room was lovely and clean with tea and coffee available

Generally clean but not the best. Towels and sheets all had slight marks on them and could probably do with replacing. Room was functional if a bit dated. Staff were friendly and facilities were good. EV parking was a plus point!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were very lucky with an upgrade to "The Ambassador" suite which was perfect for travelling with the children. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the amenities great and the spread at breakfast was more than sufficient. We will definitely look to stay again when up in the region.

Large room with a comfortable bed. Generally clean but the bathroom had multiple hairs. Large TV and ample tea and coffee provided. Very pleasant staff at reception and in the bar but the quality of food left a lot to be desired

Nice hotel with good spa facilities close to Stockon Heath if you want an evening out. We didn't use the hotel bar or restaurant so I can't comment on those

I've stayed here a few times now and have never been disappointed. Team are always helpful, the pool is clean and comfortable and the rooms are exactly what's needed. Parking is always easy no matter how busy the hotel is which is a massive plus! Even on valentine's weekend

I come to the Park Royal as part of a solo weekend away. I was so impressed from beginning to end. The check in was seamless and the room was just incredible. My only critique (and I’m digging so deep here) would be there was no passion fruit or prosecco with the Pornstar Martini. I will definitely be going back and cannot recommend enough. Five stars all around xx

8/10 Very good

Stayed at the Park Royal for 1 night, didn’t use the facilities or eat there so can’t comment on them. Check in was efficient and Elizabeth on reception was really lovely, very considerate of the fact that I was a female travelling alone. Room was spacious and very clean, bed was very comfortable - decor is tired and could do with some updating

6/10 Good

Having stayed here in the 90s the standards have definitely slipped. At breakfast constantly had to ask staff for food/drink supplies to be replenished. Bar staff not good, no eye contact when waiting, couldn't pour lager properly and had no idea how to make an Irish coffee! Only 4 Blue Badge parking places, is an unacceptable percentage in my view. Some comments given to Victoria on reception when we checked out. Must mention Mason in the restaurant, very nice and very helpful

Large comfortable room. Air conditioning Unit in room not working, but stand fan provided. Family in another room not so lucky, room so hot that sleep was difficult. Ask about A/C when checking in! Great water pressure in the shower.
