R & R at the Bahia

Great place! The rooms are amazing and the property is so beautiful. Very well cared for. The room with the bay view is beautiful. Loved the airstream. So convenient for coffee and a quick breakfast. Location is perfect. A quick walk to Mission Beach and all that has to offer.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only draw back was the hide-a bed mattress, some of the springs were broken. I called the front desk and was told there was nothing they could do. After the second night I asked for a different room and still got the same answer. I was very disappointed.

We loved the resort. The biggest issue I had was parking. We stayed at the tower in the back of the property. There is not sufficient parking for the back. I would suggest opening up the spots where the make shift construction zone is being used. It was frustrating to see wood sitting in a perfectly good parking spot. The desk was super friendly.

Bahia Resort is such a beautiful resort. We love the private beach, the seals are adorable, the dinning options are delicious, the gift shop has a little bit of everything, the staff is always so nice, walking distance to mission beach and boardwalk and honestly every room on the property is beautiful. Really love staying here!

Good location

While the overall area was nice, I do think the photos need to be updated. They were a little misleading. The property is more run-down now. The area right outside our room overlooked a parking lot with homeless people sleeping and staying there and there was a strong urine smell. If I were to return, I would recommend staying on the opposite side of the property.
