Awesome place to stay, bit of a sewerage smell at front of property but the apartment was beautiful and clean and smelt good!!!! This is a great option for people who have a whanau member in hospital, you can cook them a kai and walk it straight up to the hospital as it was a 2 minute walk. Well done Lorne Apartments, we had an awesome stay.

The room was perfect and very clean. A brush and pan would have been useful because the room service did not cover cleaning the floor. The walls are paper thin. I could hear everything that the neighbours above and beside me talking about and walking and a screaming child. The plus for this is that it’s close to the hospital, but definitely not worth the price.

I have stayed 5 nights in this accommodation over the last 2 weeks and I find the host wonderful and very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this place if you accommodation, ecspecially if you need to right next the the Waikato hospital. 10/10

The apartment was excellent value for money, clean, well equipped. It was warm and being on a main road I expected it to be noisy but it was really quiet. It's literally a six minute walk to the hospital door. However.... The check in process is a pain in the a&$$ The keypass needs to be collected from another site and the ph. number on the expedia site was wrong. When I got the correct number, the phone was only answered after the fourth occassion.

Everything you need

This property was clean and good for a family. The only thing was that there was no reception on hand. We had run out of toilet paper, there were no rubbish liner and dishwasher tablets. On a busy road but quiet enough at night. Beds were comfortable.

Pros:- Great facilities Comfortable bed Good shower Clean Good parking Cons:- Not happy that we had to go to another motel to pick up the key. Not happy that price changed after we accepted the booking. You would presume that price displayed for an apartment that slept two would be the price. However, after we accepted, the charge for a second person was added plus instructions to go elsewhere to get a key, and provide a credit card for security. Many places send a code for keyless entry these days. Apartments not soundproof An awful smell came from a sewerage pumping station in the park next door.
