The hotel is beautifully decorated and sits above the city with amazing views. The pool, small, was a great escape for the hot days. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Location is bit off the beaten track but we loved every moment of our stay!

They win a lot by the view and the location. It’s gorgeous. The pool area is great. The food is not amazing, but the setting is! The staff is friendly. The hotel itself was not very well maintained. Small things such as the shower working properly can easily be fixed and the experience will be much better. That being said, it was a good trip. We enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is the diamond in the city of Naples. First class in every way from check-in to unique historic rooms. There is a gorgeous veranda, along with a magnificent small pool on the rooftop. you will not be disappointed in this fabulous property, I promise you!

The hotel is a bit far from the city center and around not so great neighborhood but the view, the roof top terrace and the pool compensate for this. Also the staff is really nice and helpful! The hotel itself is charming with lots of art and old historical references. There is a „secret” passage to a nearby church. So different from impersonal chain hotels. The food at the restaurant could be better, but again the vibe makes it worth visiting anyhow.

Historic and unique. Room had a strange smell. Very loud overnight…fireworks, clanging bottles in hallway. One concierge wasn’t very welcoming. Seemed to need more wait staff in restaurant. Maitre d’ at restaurant was very nice. Closed lunch service early at bar/restaurant near pool because of a wedding.

Our stay at this hotel was fabulous! The hotel is an old, historic convent and was eclectic and beautiful. It also had beautiful views. It was so interesting that my sister and I went to every floor and walked all the various staircases and hallways because everything was different on each floor. The staff was extremely helpful and amazing in every way. The daytime front desk guy, Antonio, was the best. He would not take the tip we tried to give him after he found us soft pillows. He said he was just doing his job. On another occasion, the night desk man sent someone straight away to our room to look at the AC which wasn’t working properly. When they couldn’t get it going, they swiftly upgraded and moved our room. Breakfast was included and was buffet style. It had a variety of choices both hot food and cold. Our only regret about this fabulous place was that the rooftop pool and hot tub and garden area were closed for the off-season. It was an incredibly beautiful area and we were sorry that we couldn’t spend any time there. The location was also good. Up on the hill overlooking the sea with Vesuvius as the center view. Getting down to the central historic area was a 10-15 minute walk down…. Coming back up… well taxi’s or the funicular was much nicer than walking. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again. In fact, if I return to Naples, I will stay here again and make sure it’s during the time the rooftop pool area is open. A fabulous hotel!!

The hotel has great views over old town and port, and dinner in the restaurant was excellent, as good as any we’d had after ten days travelling around Italy. However, the noise from the staff, the kitchen area and general foot fall outside our room (41) was horrendous. We could hear every word of the staff clearing down after dinner and getting ready for breakfast, which went on until 1am. This included trolleys of crockery being moved around the hallways, shouting and the world’s creakiest door. If you do stay here make sure you’re not on the fourth floor, as you’ll get virtually no sleep.
