No frills, but a great place to stay

Ok, so this is a motel-style building and it is by no means luxury amenities, but we had a lovely stay here while visiting Petrified Forest National Park. The rooms were clean, staff were attentive (it’s almost unheard of now to get a call from the front desk after you check in asking if everything is good with your room), during breakfast the staff was regularly cleaning and restocking food items and the rooms were spacious.

Not so dog friendly as I was told to remove dog from lobby and take outside in the cold and wind while checking in. Clerk seemed annoyed, rushed and abrupt. Very nice hotel refurbished. Extremely quiet. Breakfast quite good, better than most.

We stayed here because we were driving from Phoenix and wanted to visit the national park and it was too far to drive back in one day. The price was very reasonable. The room was clean and comfortable. Sheets a bit thin but The bed was comfortable. Very nice breakfast offering. Better than I expected. I would totally see here again and recommend it

We've stayed here 8 times now. Even though the property is not new, I love this place! Above all else, it's quiet, and I've never heard anybody next door or upstairs. Sure, you can hear some doors closing, but nothing that will keep you up at night. Everything is reasonably clean and comfortable, even the beds---another essential! Breakfast is like most other midpriced hotels, but the staff is nicer than most. We will continue to stay here in the future.
