Expedia - maybe (I've used them a bit and the quality of service depends on the request); Sandals - maybe not (this is my first experience and I don't want to generalize beyond what I know). However Expedia & Sandals is a HELL NO for me...unless you don't mind pulling all your hair out. I have a whole email thread of receipts and at least 5 hours of phone calls I could find from the multitude of calls I spent (lost?) time on in the last few months trying to finalize a trip I had to reschedule due to tragic and unforeseen family circumstances. Here's how it typically goes: 1) I call the hotel, they say the reservation is from the "tour company" (Expedia) and so the request has to go through their tour office, the tour office never answers the phone, hotel asks me to call Expedia to call the tour office. 2) I call Expedia, they say they'll contact the hotel and get back to me, they don't, I call back and complain, they call the hotel and leave a message. ONCE they actually reached the tour office who sent an email follow up. We spoke on the phone and decided to follow up via email, I emailed and those must get funneled into a black hole because no responses ever came back. Maybe the setup to treat customers like garbage as long as they're not on site is by design, but boy is it frustrating and the complete opposite of what I'd imagined a Sandals experience to be. If all this sounds like a fun, exciting way to spend time/money, by all means go right ahead with your booking
