Amazing location and great breakfast, but that’s almost about it. We have been here in 2023 and really looked forward to staying again, but the current service is far below what we expected: service is slow and forgot multiple orders (repeatedly), the butler service is basically useless (doesn’t even deliver promised water to the villa), and the „best spa in town“ is good, but really nothing special - especially for a price where one can get better in Singapore. Location is still amazing, but the rest sadly quite disappointing

Amazing place. From the moment we stepped onto the property we were greeted by incredibly friendly staff, and they remained super helpful and friendly our entire stay. The food was amazing and so was everything else about this property. If we ever go back to Bali we know where we will be staying! The amenities and pools were awesome. This was our third visit and the first with our kids. It was meant to be the final 2 days as a special treat. The booking was mixed up and we were only booked for one night. The 2 rooms that were meant to be side by side were not. The gods have certainly left Ubud. A cacophony of noise, smog and decay. Luckily for us the second day was booked in error for Maya Sanur. Day and night. A stunning resort with great staff. Bypass Ubud and head straight for Saunr.
