Great hot tubs and pool with mountain backdrop.
Nice hotel, but have to drive everywhere as it's out on the ski area. V quiet town out of the summer or winter seasons, but suited us. Yosemite access was shut due to a rock fall, so there wasn't much else to do and many restaurants closed. Otherwise would have been ideally placed at just a half hour drive from the eastern gate to Tioga Pass.

Nice property but needs some TLC
The location and the property are incredible. The bedroom and the bathroom were super clean and comfortable, but the living room cleanliness level (ecpecialy the soffas) need some serious improvement! We even complaint and asked to change rooms but the hotel was 100 % booked, so we had no other option.... The pool and the jacuzzi were nice! And open till late, although the lights were broken so it was preaty dark.... They have a very nice grill area if you want to cook your own dinner.

Dirty, do not stay here
If you like Super8 you will love this place. This was the dirtiest hotel I have had the misfortune of staying in for a number of years. The hotel is currently undergoing renovation and it looks like it is in the middle of a building site. The furniture in the room is in poor condition, I asked to change rooms, the first room had dust everywhere, you could write your name in it. The laminate surfaces was coming off the furniture! The doors were tatty and needed painting. The only good thing I can say is that the beds were very comfortable. Despite supposedly being an upscale hotel, I would not stay here if you paid me.
