Sleepless in Stowe :(
The room had no lighting. All of our ski stuff is dark and was hard to sort when the dun went down. 2 table lamps with 30 watt ish bulbs and a battery operated globe light. Also thin walls. I listened to my neighbor's TV and conversations all night. Clear as ifthey were in my room. Got up to ride the mountain super tired from lack of sleep. The staff was awesome.

Excellent Stay!
Excellent stay! I'll be back again and again.. This is a great property located right on the river with plenty of fire-pits an outdoor hot tub and a great little bar in the lower level.. My dog loved the spot and their team loved my dog which always makes traveling a little easier.. Daylen and Lynn are awesome and understand hospitality, they made my stay feel incredibly warm and friendly.

Appeared to be a camera in the bathroom mirror. I covered the mirror with a towel and when we came back from our day trip, the towel was not only removed, but missing from the bathroom and no other service…garbage cans, beds,etc. had been serviced. Creepy weird!

Nice but expected more for price paid
This is a nice hotel but for the price paid we were a little disappointed (especially as it did not include breakfast). Bed was very comfy and the shower was great but the fridge in the room was so loud I had to unplug it to be able to sleep. The air vent in the wall was also very loud. The room looks stylish but isn’t very practical, no counter space in the bathroom, all the tables and pictures were on a slope, and some of the lighting didn’t work. The person at check in was great though, very friendly and helpful. We used the hot tub outside, which was nice but again not very practical. We got changed in a ‘boot room’ and there were no lockers to put our stuff. You access the hot tub by going out the door from the indoor pool, but once you go outside you then can’t get back in (which we did not realise). So we had to walk through the bar area in our towels to get back to our stuff (not very fun). The focus of the design of the hotel seems to be on style, as it looks good, but not always well thought through on the practical side.

Room not cleaned
We were really disappointed because our room was not cleaned at all the first day. We told the receptionist immediately. The next day, only the bathroom was cleaned, but not the room !!! Unacceptable when you pay such a high price. The hotel offered a 30$ refund saying they could not offer more because we booked through Hotel.com. I will never come back to this hotel.

We loved the bluebird! The outdoor backyard was beautiful! We went in the hot tub at night overlooking the river. I did a little yoga in the yoga room off of the pool while the kids swam. We hopped into the sauna for a bit too! The room we chose had two bunk beds which was fun for the kids. The neat style of the hotel was fun and unique. We loved the downstairs lounge- played games and relaxed there. We’d def return and also look for BlueBird hotels in other locations. It reminded us of IKEA. :)

The staff at the front desk was very nice as we were given a room without a river view at first but we had reserved one with a river view and she switched us without a problem. The room had quite a strong damp mold smell. There was a private event, therefore we had limited access to the grounds and there was loud music playing and about 60 teenagers running around. The next morning there was still garbage all over the grounds from the event all the way into the river (plastic party props, dirty plates and plastic cups etc….). It was our wedding anniversary and it really wasn’t romantic at all due to these issues…
