The Hotel has a special extra amazing extras, included for holidaymakers, such as Music entertainment every night, super bar facilities, along with a food menu . Also, there are lovely loungers and sunbeds around the gardens , and around the pool area. This is a magical oasis.

Literally the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Staff don’t care, food dreadful, breakfast disgraceful, rooms are spartan, dirty and tatty. Air con doesn’t work. Smells of drains mostly. No redeeming features whatsoever! If you view a holiday as a punishment similar to a spell in prison, this is the place for you. Otherwise, so anything in your power to avoid this hell hole.

Very rude staff
Reception staff was rude and treat clients as if we were just numbers. Restaurant staff had no training at all and answered requests with rudeness and even threats. There is no safety as hotel does not control at all who is inside or using the facilities, anyone can go in. It is not a 4stars hotel at all. Only positive point is location right on the beach. Very expensive for what you get!

The location is unbeatable but this is NOT a 4 star property. From check in which took so long and was not friendly at all (the receptionists were rude and dismissive and unhelpful - basically doing us a favour to book a taxi for the next day!) to the very basic rooms (a few measly sachets for shampoo and shower gel) to the dirty sheets and pillow cases (changed towels were rough, old and not clean) and no cleaning under the beds , a look under the bed made me feel so disgusted, dust and dirt everywhere. The safe which required a deposit and then the handing over of a lock that had to be popped in. Nothing was explained when we arrived and the literature in the room was so sparse. There were insects in the room and my wife suffered skin infection after our stay. Dinner was stressful as so much pushing and the plates and glasses dirty. We were required to wear wristbands that didnt come off for duration of stay and when checked out which took so long, I asked if they could confirm the pre-booked airport shuttle arrival time (as the flight was delayed) this was dismissed by the receptionist as: "this is between you and the company" I explained that I had paid for the hotel and expected basic service of a telephone call to just reassure me and was met with a shrug and an eventual sullen call through to the shuttle services (as if doing us a favour) - the location unbeatable and the weather fantastic but the hotel - UGHHH

Don’t chose this hotel
The staff of the hotel wasn’t welcoming at all. The check-in was very long. They would talk between them even though we were waiting not even saying they would be with us in a moment. The lady who welcomed us didnt crack a smile the whole time she was checking us in. Plus the cards she gave is didnt work for the lights and A/c in our room. What was advertised on hotel.com wasn’t what we received over there. 1. The beach umbrellas arent included its 15€ per day 2. The gym is not on site and you have to pay extra 3. There are no watersports on site 4. The activities offered by the staff weren’t professionnal at all the pilates class was more like a stretching class and the young lady didnt seem to want to be there or to know what she was doing. She seemed bored and annoyed.

I can’t understand why this place has 4 stars. It’s vsry misleading. Extremely dated, terribly uncomfortable beds and pillows. Indoor pool wasn’t open. Breakfast was “industrial”.

Close to the beach but we paid for a sea view room only to be given a land view one. After much negotiation we managed to get one. Rooms are a good size with a noisy fridge we had to unplug every night.

Only location saves this hotel.
Old hotel that seems to have stopped in time , everything, really everything is old and rusty,, the room is similar to a hospital room no confort at all and everything is damaged , old toilets , this hotel should close and be tottally renewed , from bottom to the roof , everything! Very poor breakfast, ham and cheese is the cheapest you can get in Portugal, juice from a machine made with powder etc etc... Reception does the minimum , no effort to be nice or helpfull. ..Parking area not taken care..inside pool is scary, the villas are old old old inside ,beds, couches ,everything! and the 2 outside apartment buildings are even worst , they seem the "gueto" buildings in Portugal! The only good thing about this hotel is the location... literally inside the beach...everything else is bad and urgently in need of being repaired !

Nice hotel near the beach with lovely view, food very good I mean the breakfast plenty of diverse food ,the room need some refurbishement I mean the fitings in the room is old the wood things is old. When I took the room was really unclean floor and toilet with stains. Too quiet no music outside at pool no entertainment inside pool need some refurbish but at that price was ok.If you want to eat lunch or supper is very expensive 20pounds per person.Whith bus you can visit Albufeira town and Quarteira who is very good for shopping.

The hotel itself was very nice, unfortunately it is quite isolated, near nothing and i felt quite captive. Being a resident on breakfast omly, i thought i would be able to find plenty of eating establishments close by, but certainly not the case therefore i had to eat in the hotel, which was expensive for the food choice. Would not go back!

2/10 Poor

Just an awful place, don't really know where to start. Staff seems miserable and is not helpful at all. The hotel must have been built in 1970s and hasn't been renovated since. Pool small and insufficient. Nowhere to park. Small (and public) beach. Hotel has no beach concession. Really a bad property.

6/10 Good

Fantastic location with beautiful beach but....
Interior of hotel very tired and dated, room furnishings old and tattered, AC does not work so uncomfortable to sleep. Hotel would benefit from better public transport as service is infrequent and stops around 6-7pm. Taxis expensive to Vilamoura or Albufeira, between 15-17 euros each way. On the positive note the sea view room on the 7th floor had the most amazing views and there is stunning walks along the beach or the cliff tops of which you can walk all the way to Vilamoura or Olhos de Água. The walk to Vilamoura marina entrance takes about 1 hour then a further 20 minutes or so to actually walk into the centre of the Marina. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel is OK . There is a selection to choose from and it’s nice to sit on the outdoor terrace and take in the view whilst having your meal. There is no English speaking entertainment. If you stay here it’s recommended you hire a car as there is lots of lovely places to visit.
