The property was ok staff helpful but noisy due to nightclubs being across the road.

Clean, reasonable, basic accommodation

Clean basic accommodation. Triple and twin rooms were ideal for a lads weekend where all you’re bothered about is a clean bed and a shower. Only thing that wasn’t clear beforehand was the requirement for a security deposit (possibly because we were a group of lads clearly out on a weekend on the sesh) - not an issue but should have been made clear when booking

Great location

Great location. Within waking distance of lots of restaurants, shops, bars, train stations and buses. Bit noisy at night but thats because it is so close to the night life. Rooms were warm as it was a heat wave when we visited and no fan or air-con but we enjoyed our stay dispite this. Staff are really friendly and helpful. I would stay here again
2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Good location, clean, good wifi, quiet, great place to stay in Glasgow! Let us leave our luggage before check-in. Water heater in room.
MITZI, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

I will start by saying it is a 1-star hotel. It's in a horrible condition. The ceiling of our room was all cracked and leaking during a rain storm. We got moved to another room, but it was equally delapidated. The bathroom mirror shelf was broken, cold water faucet was giving only the thinest, unusable flow of water, the towel rack was broken or turned off, the radiator was disgusting and rusty. I can't describe how inadequate the beds were - virtually no matress and the pillows you only imagine in middle ages. The worst was the manager who barged into our room in the morning wgen we were still asleep.to confront us about negative check-in comments we left on Expedia.
Alyona, 4-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The property is well managed and convenient to the Queen street rail station. Lots of food options as well.

One night stay

Hotel was very clean and staff very friendly.
Margaret, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Rude unhelpful staff. Didnt sleep a wink due to noise until 4.30am from club next door. Actually left after one night instead of two and lost money then booked another hotel.
Yvonne, 1-night trip

Expectations met

Its a very nice hotel. Thr room was a bit too warm for me but it was a simple and comfortable room. No real problems. I love the architecture. I would stay there again.
Julie, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The reception was pleasant and professional, the room was spotless and everything worked; on the other hand, the doors and the corridors felt shabby and the room was very noisy from the local disco.
James, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Great for night out in Glasgow!

Clean but somewhat dated room. Ideal for just night sleep after night out. Central location for nightlife. Comfortable sleep despite hearing noise of nightclub across the road.
Thomas, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Did not receive email about discounted parking fees until we had checked out no good to us then
john, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Very basic but dark room

We arrived at hotel, very close to shopping which was good, But was right next to a noisy nightclub, room was okay a bit dark lighting wasn’t great when your trying to put make up on, bathroom mirror light did not work, didn’t go for breakfast, as not sure what to expect, with the room we had, it’s a basic place to stay if your on a tight budget, i stayed for 3 nights with my hubby and daughter, we had same towels, that was given when we arrived until we left, no staff would enter the room until we handed keys back which was good. As no one would be able to snoop in your personal belongings. I won’t be returning as the noisy night club, and very basic kind of dark room we had has put me and my husband off. Room in general was clean,

Nice Stay

Really nice place. Good atmosphere and characterful property.
1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Comfortable

Comfortable and central hotel, looks lovely from outside and the magical spiral staircase looks like a castle. However the stay started off disappointing when upon checking in I enquired about timings and location for breakfast, and was told there was none, despite it being advertised and included in the room price. The room was basic and comfortable but very dated and dust everywhere.
David-James, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

More like a hostel

The room looked more like a hostel than a hotel. We chose it because it offered breakfast & we had a busy schedule so would have saved us looking round for a place to eat. When we asked about the breakfast time we were informed they aren’t offering breakfast due to covid. The hallway stank of cigarette smoke the window sills had cigarette ends on them. The whole place was disgusting. It ruined our stay.

Hotel was clean and tidy but not good for disabili

Trip was good except for being on 3rd floor no lift and a spiral staircase but i managed slowly as have arthritis then or return from dinner i enquired where did qe go for breakfast to be told no breakfast because off covid When i booked it stated breakfast included dont mind for myself but daughter had to wait until we had packed everything and where leaving to get breakfast
Tracy, 1-night trip

Not recommend

The room was ok , the staff were quite ignorant, didn't like having to give a £50 deposit and my bank details again,as it had already been paid, especially not getting told ,until wee got there, breakfast was a roll n egg, sounds great, but it was freezing,I mean it had been kept in a fridge
Joanne, 1-night trip

Was staying there for 3 days and the room wasn’t serviced once
Derek, 3-night trip

2/10 Poor

Overall this "inn" if you can call it that was very unprofessional, staff and especially owners were very unhelpful, and in general I feel scammed. I would not recommend giving money to this establishment.
Selim, 3-night trip

in the center of Glasgow- near the train station which is nice

Okay but we were 4 floors up a spiral staircase with luggage and we are not young.

Bad review !

Staff were rude and contradicted themselves when trying to con us for £25 as we were 6 minutes late checking out. Ended up bartering with us and we settled for £10 which no doubt went straight in his back pocket
