Pros first. The hotel and rooms are very pretty and well appointed. The location is great and you can walk to the distillery and restaurants.
Cons. The walls are incredibly thin and you can hear EVERYTHING. There is a restaurant below the hotel and all of the noise from the restaurant could be heard in room in the evening and then again in the morning when the restaurant staff arrived. Additionally, when other guests returned to the hotel late at night we could hear shutting doors, walking around, playing music and having conversations. Lastly, this hotel has an oddly religious vibe to it; from a bible verse on a plaque outside the main door to a book about Jesus and his teachings featured prominently on the bedside table. We are used to having bibles in hotel rooms, but this seemed over the top and very off putting to non Christian guests; especially since the focus on Christianity appeared nowhere on the website. Odd to have it so in your face when you arrive at the hotel and again in your room.
We were super excited to stay here but based on the cons very much outweighing the pros, we won't stay here again and wouldn't recommend it to others.
