checkin good parking good and free if available receptionist and other staff very helpful only downside was due to a coach your staying there the restaurant was booked out until 8.15pm with no warning. would have been nice if some consideration was given to the other hotel guests

Toenails on the floor
This place was not what I was expecting. At all. I’ll start with the positive which was the friendly staff. The lobby looks nice but it’s a facade. I can’t believe this is rated four stars. It was run down with dirty carpets throughout. If you read through the recent reviews, you’ll see that this is not the only one that mentions toenail clippings on the floor. Yes, you read that right. Toenails. There is also motion sensing lights everywhere so the dirty hallways are pitch black as you approach your room. The area around the hotel does not feel safe either. We were disappointed in Derry overall. Would def not return.

3-star hotel
We found this hotel to be pretty basic. It was kind of run down and shabby looking. The beds weren’t very comfortable and the pillows were flat. The shower had good water pressure. Still, we got a great price for the room so I guess it was worth what we paid for it. Probably more 3 stars than 4.

Parking was not on the property. The mattress was super hard. Turns out that it was flipped over to the hard side because the soft side was wet. The staff did resolve this by bringing a new mattress after calling a manager.
