This was a great hotel. The location is fantastic and the staff were all great.The AC did not work well and the room was too hot to be comfortable. If the the AC had worked would have been 5 stars. But I need a cold room to sleep comfortably.

Great location - wish that there was onsite parking included in the cost. We used nearby parking at additional cost and skipped the valet. Pictures of breakfast area included something that once on site was not actually there (slight minus).

Room not Ready at Check in
The hotel is in good location in the center of all major attractions. I'm giving three stars because we arrived there at 4:30 PM and check in is supposed to be at 3:00 pm but our room was not ready when we got there, and we were asked to wait extra 30 minutes to get the room ready. We were told they had a bunch of late check out, but that not my problem... we flew for three hours to get to Atlanta and drove four hours to Savannah; the last thing I wanted was to wait for the room to be ready. By the way, because they had to rush to clean the room, the bathroom corners and behind the door were full of hairs.

Clean and comfortable
The room was very clean and comfortable. Our room faced the main street and it seems the window is not sound proof. We heard cars drive by all night. But, all in all, the front desk rep, Marie, was very pleasant to speak with. And she welcomed us and thanked us for being Hilton members.

The service at the front desk was great. This place has a $45 valet. Charge to park your car because of the location in the historic district. A lot of great food choices in walking distance from this hotel. My only complaint was that my shower was lukewarm, and I couldn't control the air conditioning.

More customer service effort, please.
Requested their every other day housekeeping but they didn’t respond. The staff was not responsive, nor affable and did not want to rectify issues. I arrived at 2:30pm, Check-In was 3pm, my room was not ready. They took my phone number and said they would call me when it was ready. I toured around for 3 hours, never getting a phone call. I finally called them and they stated they overlooked calling. The morning breakfast was substantial.
