Truly exceptional hotel. The building and rooms are beautiful and immaculately kept, the staff and service are very personal and with all the little touches that take it to the next level, the food (both choice and quality) is excellent, and the choice of activities wide and varied.

e Prince Maurice is considered as one of the top luxury hotels in Mauritius, and I wanted to see for myself if this reputation is deserved. I have to admit the hotel lives up to its lofty reputation for excellent services. All the staff have been professional and courteous and went out of their way to accommodate a request which was important for me , despite being at full capacity. Special mention to Genevieve and Theo. The facilities are top notch and I was genuinely surprised (and happy) that the the restaurants offer Mauritian dishes which were tasty. I stayed in one of the villa which oversees the ‘barachois’, and has a great view to the sea and the surrounding mangrove which gives the hotel a nice cachet. In short, this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in anywhere in the world and will highly recommend.
