Great location, walking distance to Blue mosque and Tram stations. Fantastic places to eat breakfast and lunch next to the hotel, where local goes. Pege hotel itself is off main street so very quiet and also feel safe. The staff and manager are all so helpful and nice. The cleaners are so quiet and efficient. I do not hear the cleaner in the morning but when we back for lunch the room are all cleaned. I would recommend Pege hotel to everyone who wants to stay in old town and close to the places.

The location is great! Near most of the major sites in the old part of the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and plain. Nothing fancy, but just what we needed for a two-night extension to our long tour of the country.

Great hotel and perfect trip
We stayed at Pege hotel for four nights and arrived home yesterday - we really didn’t want to leave! It was our 1st time at the hotel and 1st time in Istanbul and it was a fantastic stay at The Pege Hotel. The staff, in particular Omer are very friendly and helpful they go above and beyond to make sure your stay is excellent and that you experience the best of Istanbul! They offer recommendations and helpful tips which we very much appreciated as it was our first time. The location is unbeatable, it’s within walking distance to all of the must see areas and close to transport links if you want to venture further away which the staff will happily advise you on. The room is very comfortable, clean and modern with all the amenities you could want/need and the internet connection is very good. Housekeeper comes in daily and replaces the water, tea and coffee and provides you with clean towels which is excellent. We highly recommend this hotel for a perfect stay and experience in Istanbul

No frills, but a great location & value for money
The Pege Hotel is pretty new, and while it's not pristine or luxurious, it does the trick. For someone who is extremely clean in her own life, I was also fine with the level of cleanliness. Drawbacks, though, include that the rooms are small, so if you are staying in a room with another person, it will be cramped. Also, the walls are thin, so you can hear showers and water draining from other rooms, and you can hear your neighboring guests in their rooms. That said, the hotel's location is great...very close to all of the historic sites, in a nice and quiet neighborhood, near public transportation. The prices at the hotel are also a major plus.
