Worst beds I have ever slept on!
Arrived on the first night to find we were underneath the Restruant - all you could hear was the sound of chairs moving and the food trollies Beijing moved across the tiles - Also the beds are really uncomfortable 1/10 score - hardly got any sleep. Following Day I did get moved to a room above the Restruant which was ok, however the beds were still rubbish - worst beds I have ever slept on - unless you are going to stay up all night and dont want to get a good nights sleep I would stay elsewhere. Suggestion to management - Buy some decent beds!

    Romantic stay in Sorrento
My wife and I stayed at Parco dei Principi for our honeymoon and fell in love with the view from our balcony. Being able to listen to the waves each morning and evening was amazing. Our only qualms were that the room wasn’t very soundproof so you could hear other guests in their rooms as well as walking up and down the corridors. Also, the breakfast selection wasn’t what we would have expected from a five star resort. Yes, there was a lot to choose from however much of it was bland in taste. That said, we were treated to a delicious cake to celebrate our honeymoon (with a compliments slip which read ‘Happy Birthday’ - the thought was still very much appreciated though). Staff were friendly and accommodating - we had arrived from the airport much earlier than the standard check in time but were given our room straight away, which was perfect after having woken up at 2am that morning. To our delight, the hotel offers a free shuttle service into and out of the centre of Sorrento every half an hour, with a break during the afternoon. The gym is very limited, it has DB upto 12 kgs with 2 multi purpose resistance machines and a few cardio machines, however open 24 hours a day. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be visiting Sorrento again in the future.

    Exceptional 10.0
Absolutely beautiful hotel & with incredible panoramic views. Many reviewers complained the hotel is a distance away from the center of Sorrento but honestly, we did not find that a problem. I think it made the experience feel a bit more authentic as Sorrento can be quite touristy in the summer months. There are still wonderful restaurants within walking distance (I suggest La Cantinaccia del Popolo) & a shuttle if you want to reach the center of town/ marina. Rooms are clean & modern with blue tiles, staff was fairly attentive. We got lucky that our "garden" room even had a partial sea view. We certainly enjoyed the evenings on the balcony; there are lots of weddings at the hotel, and therefore we enjoyed the music coming from the rotating bands. Yet, we didn't find noise to be a problem either. The sea deck is pretty much worth the splurge all together, although we found it strange the restaurant wasn't open on the Saturday we visited (possibly because of a morning storm?) luckily, they were still serving rosè. My only criticisms would be there is a gym, but its in need of updating. The treadmill was broken the second day, and the bike made an incredibly loud noise. Also, there are no irons in the room and they wont provide you with one, although you can pay up for a fee. Hard to make all those linen clothes you packed look presentable without paying. So accept it or come with your own mini steamer if you are slightly OCD like me. In the end I would definitely visit again.
