We liked the quiet after a week in seminyak. The property has the lovely old features of the Bali of yesteryear throughout the expansive gardens but the modern upgrades of the room. We loved our stay at Griya Santrian. We were looking for a relaxing, easy vacation. Griya Santrian was perfect. The staff was friendly, helpful and fantastic. My air condition froze and was fixed immediately. The grounds are beautiful, immaculate and abundant in lovely vegetation. Three pools were perfect, meaning no pool was overcrowded. We loved dining and swimming with the sea in view. We rented bikes,used the free kayaks and the staff made everything easy. Our rooms were large with balcony. The beds were so comfortable. Ambience, public areas and rooms are all excellent. Only criticism is the broken equipment in gym (cycling machine) and the oar of one of the canoes is twisted and shortened (hard to use). A personal suggestion is to reduce the lighting on the beach in the evening to make the view more e joyable.
