We had a lovely stay at the Scarisbrick Hotel in Southport. Our room was clean, comfortable and very spacious, which made for a really pleasant stay. The staff were friendly, helpful and pleasant throughout, and the hotel is in a very central location, making it easy to get around Southport and enjoy everything nearby. Overall, we felt it was good value for money and we’d be happy to stay here again. 😊

On arrival was informed there was no hot water, was iffer to swap over to sister hotel over the road which we did. Staff were very helpful in this change over. Sister hotel prince of wales. Staff were lovely and welcoming, room clean and spacious. Would definitely visit again.

Great staff all very friendly and helpful the room was spotlessly clean and decorated simply managed to get a parking place breakfast was all you can eat buffet style with good choice and very nice this hotel has some bad reviews but based on my 2 night stay for fireworks weekend I would definitely return I am aware that some visitors complained of noise at night from other bars in the vicinity but it's unfair to blame the hotel I personally was not disturbed in any way glad despite some reviews I chose to go here and all-round great stay

Grand victorian now budget hotel. If you need somewhere to crash that is warm..clean sheets job done. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our window looked out onto a silly covered in years worth of pigeon poop.

I found the reception staff to be unfriendly as my two 10 year old granddaughters said the lady did not say hi there how can I help you, she did not say enjoy your stay with us . We often stay in Southport and the girls are used to us dealing with reception and hotel staff , I happen to agree with them . The breakfast was ok but not the best but what I would say is the lady on the breakfast reception was pleasant . We only had enough towels for one and there were 3 of us the beds were comfy enough ., but we were next to a very loud bar which didn’t help. Don’t think we will be back at the Scarisbrick hotel

I've put 5 stars for everything because despite the bad reviews i saw before booking it, for the kids and I on a budget we had a wonderful stay. I love buildings that have a sense of history which is what attracted me to it in the first place. Considering it was booked last minute and for the price i paid we were very well received and we loved the feeling of the buildings vibe, The room was also very clean and we had a great view. Also the kids had a great sleep, The only reason I didn't is because I'm a light sleeper and being the only adult I was on alert 💁‍♀️.

Old and tired building. Staff lovely. Breakfast OK but limited choices. Room OK. Windows need cleaning. Nice barons bar for a chill and drink. Wouldn't have tge room we got as a extremely loude bar opposite till 5am!! Didst drop off till 3pm. Not good for sleep 😢. Very good location. Bad car park. We were in o reflow. Extremely tight to get in and out.

Room was lovely and clean, only thing that ruined it was the noise from the clubs, we we're on the 1st floor right opposite the clubs that went on until after 4am. Would definitely recommend higher floor level next time.

Arrived to see a board offering a book in deal for a 3 course meal to be told restaurant was closed and we could go to another hotel in Southport for the meal….ridiculous..there was a coffee lounge on the ground floor closed also until a coach party came in during our stay and miraculously the restaurant opened and the coffee lounge. The lift was a rickety old thing which we didn’t trust, rooms basic, no one came in daily to replenish anything or check up on the rooms. Noise was horrendous during the night, music from nearby going on until 3am, some staff were nice but one man was obstructive and less than useless, cleanliness outside the hotel was gross, empty cans, rubbish etc on the window ledges of the hotel sometimes stayed there for 2 days before anyone moved it. Would never stay here again.
