good and bad
Unfortunately the day I arrived there was a problem with the water pipes. The hotel made every effort to fix things but for the 5 days I was there I had no shower or hot water or operational toilet. I used the manager bathroom on the first floor. I wish someone had given me better instructions on how to use the gallons of water that were provided. Being a city girl I thought they were for drinking but it turns out that was not completely correct. Breakfast was very very yummy and I commend the staff for getting through a VERY difficult time.

Quiet, Comfortable, & Tasty
The inn keeper was friendly, the pizza place on the ground floor smelled amazing, and the bed was comfy. I cracked the window as the room was very warm. Maybe it's above the pizza oven? Breakfast was included and offered real maple syrup. Thats how to win a Vermont-raised girl's heart!
This inn was by far the best value for money on a cold Friday night in Montpelier. Beautiful library down the street, church concert steps away, and a short walk to the local co-op. I may be spending more time here in the near future.

This was a lovely Inn located within walking distance of Montpelier's downtown historic buildings. The room we had was spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a continental breakfast. My only complaint would be the squeaky bed springs. The air brakes from trucks passing by during the night were loud, but we travel with ear plugs.

They had spacious parking on the premises. The neighborhood was quiet. The breakfast part of the B&B was continental. Packaged oatmeal, cold cereal, muffins, and bagels.
