This is an old motel from the 60s. It’s cleaner than expected but I’m not sure about the carpet. It wasn’t terribly frightening but the walls are paper thin. It’s worth staying 30 miles away from Tuscaloosa when you can’t afford a 900$ room.

When we pulled up to the hotel, I was not too optimistic. It is an older building that shows it's age. Everything turned out better than expected, however. The room was updated, AC unit looked new, and everything was in good working order. The staff was pleasant and helpful. There were not many other guests and our room was very quiet overnight. Considering the bargain price for the room, I think our stay was better than I hoped.

Many of the people at this motel were very noisy , very rude people in the area . Lady in the office was very friendly and did a good job . Motel needs work , quite shabby , but inexpensive . Overall , I would stay again .

Had to constantly call this personal cell phone to check in or get anything done to check in. Was treated like we were in an inconvenience. Room smelled of smoke due to the joining room. We had a change in plans and they wouldn't accommodate was told there was no way they would refund the last night considering it was way before the checkout of the first day. Over all rude service outside of the lady that gave us towels.

Booked a room with king bed, only received a queen. Room was bery VERY small. You can definitely tell these rooms are being redine from the property previously being a storage buolding property. You can tell they are eirking in improving but they have a looooong way to go.

It was very dirty. We had to wait an hour after the check in time to actually check in because staff had not even started cleaning our room. When she did start cleaning the room a gentleman smoking a black & mild cigar walks into our room and I guess just helped her clean. Just a weird experience overall.

The motel look like it had been remodeled. Ok cool. I had something come up so I called to see if could cancel but I couldn’t according to the owner, so cool, I arrived real late. I take my kids in the room and within 5 minutes I had to kill a big roach, not water bug, then a baby roach. The water was leaking from the toilet. I couldn’t cancel the room because it had been less than 24 hrs. When I get there, they has cancel on my paperwork and had given my room up and only had a double left and charged me an extra $27 to get that room!! Please if you can stay with relatives, just do that and give them what you would’ve paid to stay here.

We got there later than expected and it does state that the latest you can check in is 10 o’clock but when I got there the sign did say open I went into the little lobby. I rang the bell three times, knocked on the door and knocked on the window. The TV was on. Nobody answered, I called the phone number on the window no answer. I called the phone number on their website no answer. Finally a guy came out from a room and he helped me. He was very nice. The room did have a smell that did not go away for the three days we were there, the ceiling has some water spots, there was spiderwebs on the windows and lights inside. The bathtub had a green ring around the tub. Shower pressure was awesome but the shower head was very low the bed was comfortable sheets and towels were clean. The cleaning lady came and offered new towels and more toilet paper the second day we were there. You do have to ask for an iron. The lady I spoke with, was very nice. Everybody was very pleasant.

Location was great for us and the price was too. There was a very good refrigerator. We enjoyed our stay.
