Overall, I had a good experience. I’ve stayed at a Residence Inn before but this was my first time at the Bishop’s Gate location. The staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. The breakfast was good with great options. My room was clean. The pool seemed like it needed to be cleaned and/or treated but other than that, no complaints about this hotel.

Pleasant stay
Staff was fantastic and very accommodating. I was a little surprised about the pet friendly hotel. I do suggest giving owners and pets their own floors to use. The barking was horrible but it wake my kids up a few times. I tried to change rooms but the other room had a terrible smell. I decided it was best to stick with the maybe barking night. Rooms were little rundown and needs some upgrades especially at $200+ per night. Overall was a pleasant experience-the staff definitely made the experience better.

Pros: rooms are very spacious with great amenities. Kitchenette was well stocked and clean. I traveled with 3 children under 10 and the staff and atmosphere was very welcoming.
Cons: Breakfast options limited and not adequately stocked. Tub was broken making it difficult to bathe children. Fire-pit was broken And towels weren’t replenished- no housekeeping.

The room smelled like curry and the hallways smelled like “smoke”. A truly stinky facility js hard for any hotel to overcome — in this case sub par beds and sub par overall conditions added insult to stinkury.
