This hotel was perfectly located just a few minutes from the the Opera House and main Vienna sites. The hotel was newly renovated with stylish appointed bedrooms. We had the most perfect stay at this hotel. The room was clean and beautiful with truly one of the most comfortable beds I have ever stayed in! very clean, and while still in the city center, was on a quieter street (versus some of the really really touristy hotels). Just steps away from wonderful restaurants, musicals, venues, etc.. The room was lovely, the only feedback I have for the hotel is that there was basically no “surface space” only one very small round table, and the kettle and coffee maker took up the entire table. Every member of the staff was absolutely wonderful! The breakfast was great! And the outdoor courtyard was lovely to sit in. I highly highly recommend this hotel! Thank you for my wonderful stay!

Great central location near museums, opera, and shopping. Friendly and helpful staff. I had a nice, spacious room on the 4th floor overlooking the courtyard, with a seating area. Everything was well-designed and elegant and in good condition. Comfortable bed and good linens, but the pillows were filled with some sort of synthetic fluff rather than feathers (which I prefer). The street is mostly pedestrian (except for cabs), so there was no traffic noise, even with the window open. Very little noise from other rooms. The main negative was the "desk" -- a narrow shelf attached to the wall. The "chair" was a soft stool with no back, far too low for working comfortably on a laptop; I had to heap pillows on it. The lamp provided was decorative and not suitable for working. Also, the makeup mirror in the bathroom wasn't in a good location or adjustable. The elevator is very tiny, with room for just one person and a full-sized suitcase; not a problem, just something to be aware of.

Pure luxury!! Hotel Palais Mailberger was our favourite hotel during our recent Central Europe Tour. A hidden oasis amongst the hub bub of Vienna city life. From the moment of entering this hotel...it reads professional, comfortable and sumptuous. From the large well appointed rooms with it's extravagant fine linens to the sauna room full of peace and tranquility. The reception staff are are the first and last impressions for any hotel. All the staff at Mailberger have local expertise, professional presentation, exceptional communication skills and are engaging. The dining area staff included! Thank you ladies. We were treated like high society during our stay. I'm missing my morning Cafe Lattes and freshly made omelettes already! The rooms are large!!! Every item is carefully selected for an opulent stay. From the fine linens on the bed, the fluff white towels and well maintained rooms. To the A La Carte menu in the morning room, with it's white table cloths and fresh flowers. It's the little things European thingsthat made me smile during our visit. The air conditioning was whisper quiet and the room dark due to interior doors and great thick black out drapes. I loved the windows that open into the courtyard and the peace and quiet of being tucked away in a little slice of heaven. When we return to Vienna we intend to stay here again. we have already recommended the hotel to all our friends and family. I'm sure they will enjoy it as much as we did. Strong work team!!
